  • Leitz FS dissecting stereo microscope

    Head: Binocular

    Eyepieces: Leitz G 12.5x (correct ones for microscope)
    Illumination: Available but not included

    Comments: A very nice German microscope for a collector or hobbyist. It is in fine mechanical and ok optical working order. Includes a transmitted light base but is missing the mirror and is mis-matched color black with gray upper body. The base can be easily removed.

    Objectives: All proper Leitz objectives 3.5x .10 NA 170/- Achromat, 6x .18NA 170/- Achromat, 10x .25NA 170/ -Achromat
    Eyepieces: Leitz 10x Periplan (correct ones for microscope)
    Illumination: Bright field 40w built in

    Comments: This microscope mechanically and optically works fine. A little bit of slight surface rust on chrome metal pieces. My step mother used this microscope in her laboratory at one time before getting a new one. I have other Leitz objectives including a long working distance 32x if you want to look at flask or petri dishes.
